Hi, I'm Wjdan - owner and founder of Glambywjdan and Glambywjdan Academy. 

I started the successful business you see today from home over XX years ago, my first ever client was for a $25 service!

I originally started my business to help women feel their best with and without makeup. My dedication, commitment and passion for the beauty industry propelled my success, and My business quickly grew to a mission bigger than I could ever dream, to help those around me create financial freedom by becoming their own boss in the powerful multi billion dollar industry that is beauty.

Coming from a cultural background when I first started my business no one believed in me, the regular comments I received were to “sit down at home and look after your kids, you're a mum and should not be working.” 

However I said to myself I can either sit down and let these comments define me or get my ass up and become the boss I have always wanted to become despite what people around me expected of me.

I now pride myself to be an example for other women of culture and tradition to become their own self, open their business and become financially independent. When you come from a cultural background it can often feel like you don't have many options to allow you to put yourself out there. I am lucky to be in a position to take a step in life that many other women feel they can't. By doing so, I hope I am paving the way for future generations after me to become their own biggest role model, by defining their own capabilities and choosing whats possible for them.

My favourite thing about the industry is its art. I love to be creative with what I have, depending on the client's facial structure, everybody has a unique feature that makes their brows stand out from everyone else. 

The most important thing that I absolutely love doing is making sure my craft is as perfect as possible and helping my students become top tier in this industry. I truly believe knowledge is power, and my advice to artists trying to make their mark is to keep learning new things everyday no matter how long you have been in the industry.
